Personality ::
From the way Kharon allows himself to be perceived, he may appear just like everyone else. But that is all just an act to get close to you. He will charm, manipulate and lie with great skill, so that you will have no idea who you had just met. This act could last as long as he wanted it to last, so you could go for years without knowing his true nature. You only know what he wants you to know. Kharon possesses no remorse or shame for his thoughts and actions, and looking deeper into his true self, it could be questioned if any of his feelings are real or simply there to lure you into a false sense of security while he plans his next move. He refuses to take any blame for his actions, so allows others to feel the guilt. The consequences do not matter to him. He never feels any sense of responsibility for what he has done. This is because he views everyone else as beneath him, and though one would usually show that as a narcissist or powerful figure in society, he merely hides and feels disdain watching others relishing in their meagre self importance. As a highly intelligent being, he displays clear control over himself, particularly in his precise planning. Though he may save aspects of his intelligence just in case he needs it. For he is not a psychopath, despite displaying several of the known tells, though this does not mean that he hasn't got the potential to do great harm. Although he can also possess the sudden aggression of a psychopath, his much more controlled behaviour suggests that he is in fact a sociopath, although the lines between the two for him are incredibly blurred. He can strike out incredibly quickly with a great deal of aggression if such a response is triggered, however his general plan of attack is much more precise, accounting for different factors and only moving when he feels the time is right. Where a psychopath might leave evidence behind, he is meticulous in his clean up, and will leave no evidence. Even if the act was done in the manner of the psychopath, he fears detection and will snap out of his rage to complete the clean up. Similarly, if he feels his guise has been compromised, he will leave town, regardless of any plans.

History ::
They knew right from the start that Kharon was going to be trouble. He was born in a litter of two, though there had been complications. As the larger and stronger of the two, Kharon was the only one to be born alive - his brother killed possibly even by the young Kharon. His mother lost her life only a few years later, though this was not from following the complications in the birth and the grief that she felt for her lost son. His father had blamed her for the death of the other son, and beat her to take out his rage, but this was only a more severe version of what had already been going on because he was a known drunk. When Kharon would step between them to stop the fighting, he too was beaten, quite harshly at that. As a teenager, after a beating he would head over to his girlfriend's house, drunk and aggressive, but scared, and she would comfort him. After many trips to the hospital, his mother died, leaving Kharon with his abusive father. During this time of development for the young Kia, he was subjected to verbal abuse, potentially dangerous situations, much more severe beatings and finally abandonment at the age of 17. He had been lost, but instead of trying to help him find his way, Kharon's father disappeared out of his life, leaving Kharon with a resentment for everyone around him. His girlfriend had been his anchor, but shortly before his abandonment from his father, after a particularly bad argument, he returned to his girlfriend more aggressive than anything else. He struck out at her accidentally, and she died. He was intelligent enough to cover it up, but he hated himself afterwards, and this changed him. To blend in with the rest of the Kiamara population, he found himself some white feathers and used those as a sign of who he was. They didn't stay nice for very long though. The feathers were tattered to begin with, and this only became worse as time went on, as well as the red staining that now can be seen on them. Dried blood, from his very first intentional kill, the one that really gave him a taste for it. Once he was old enough, after lots of planning, he hunted down his father and made him feel all the pain that he had forced on the young Kia. His life was ended shortly after. Kharon was interviewed by the police, but he had been very careful and the case went cold. He acquired a job in a position of power, a lawyer, and works like that to this day. He was given the case of Hannibal Lecter, a murderer, and got quite close to him during the trial and imprisonment. This did not end when Hannibal was broken out of prison, as he continued to speak with the fugitive, even offering to keep him in the cabin on his land that he used to work late in. Hannibal accepted, and lived there for quite some time to hide from the FBI. The pair originally worked on a basis of how useful they were to one another alive, but Kharon quickly became quite attached to the other, even though he would not admit it out loud. So they became closer, nearly friends, but Kharon kept his distance emotionally so that he couldn't hurt himself, or Hannibal, as he had screwed up the first time he had been attached like that. It was all going well until Hannibal decided to bring Will back into his life, despite the other Kia originally wanting nothing to do with him. This sparked up the first of many fights on the subject of Will between Hannibal and Kharon, and Kharon's possessive attitude finally gave way for primal aggression. He threatened Will, and broke everything off with Hannibal, leaving the children he had fathered in the other's care. It wasn't long before the fight that he was introduced to Killian, as a friend of Hannibal's, and they quickly hit it off. After that final fight with Hannibal, Kharon went back to Killian's house seeking comfort. The other was more than willing, and they have been together ever since.
